About Russ

I’m a people person who carries a camera like a conversation starter. Photography, for me, is connection. It’s listening with my eyes until someone relaxes, laughs, and becomes fully themselves. That’s when the real portrait shows up.

My aim is straightforward: images that feel authentic, alive, and full of story. I photograph seniors stepping into the next chapter, families holding tight to what matters, and athletes pouring out effort you can’t fake. And in every session, I’m watching for something deeper, the quiet evidence of the Creator reflected in a human face.

When I’m not photographing, I’m building in other ways: crafting puzzles, designing escape rooms, and leading Bible study. Different tools, same heartbeat, creating, connecting, and pointing people to purpose.

This is bigger than photography. It’s people. It’s moments. It’s meaning.
